What's the Buzz about PIF4P?

Hi again,

As you already understand by now, from my earlier posts, I have become a member of Pay It Forward 4 Profits (PIF4P) recently.

Since I have a full time job (+ a little) as a self employed consultant my posts may not be daily, allthough that is my intention. Due to this it may also take me a little longer than the stipulated 30 days to start getting prospects, but anyhow I will be hanging in here as I believe in the program due to the way they present it at the website here.

Hi everybody!

I have updated the blog template today and this post is about the trials and tribulations I experienced during this small little revamp.

I started in good faith using a template I received from a collegue. He had meade the changes I wanted, as my own ability with HTML is virtually non-existant. He instructed me about how this should be done.

"You have to delete the old template entirely and replace it with this one". That seemed simple - I deleted the template and replaced it with the new one. I updated the blog and reviewed it - and looked at the OLD blog! This happened two times more, until I realized that the blog I viewed was in a different browserwindow! - Curtain please....

Having realized what a twit I was - I started on the part I really dreaded - updating the links etc in the template. "For the links you only put in the html for the site you wanted the link to bring the reader to. For the PIF4P site the link is; - PIF4P - a funded proposal

Another cool feature with HTML I learned today is; - I do not need to loose the reader from my blog if he/she clicks one of the links, as I can instruckt their browser to open the link in a new browser window. When they close that window they will come back here. Go to the PIF4P link on your rigth, or use the link above, and try it now!

Sorry about the diversion about HTML today, but I was exited of managing this so I had to tell you :-). If you look in tomorrow I will show you how I managed to muddle up the easy procedure of including Adsense in my Blog. As you see I finally managed but it took a while

The 'funded proosal'
Could there be another way where you consistently can build a list and at the same time earn money?

The funded proposal, based on duplication and a low cost entrance product that provides recurring short term (weekly) income to compensate for the cost of the low entrance product. This means that, if you are my prospect, I don't earn money before you are successful. And you become successful when you help your prospect to become successful.

In other word it pays to help your prospects to become successfule, because then you become successful as well. And in the process you build a large list of responsive followers that will stay with you for a long time.

In the system also includes a lead generation company with an affiliate program that pays recurring fast track bonuses on a weekly basis. This service is free, with an option to become a pro member against a fee.

The most important element in the funded proposal, however, is the free training that is provided, both on the site and in form of telconferences. The latter gives direct coaching by the owners of the system. Here the users are updated about marketing and is discouraged from contacting their prospects doing 'hard selling' pitch for the program. The basic tone in the training material is that each and everyone that receives a prospect through their web-site shall be available to answer question and provide customer service, but leave the prospect alone and let the system (the web-site and teleconferences) do the job of convincing them that the offer is valid and beneficial for them. When they come into the system from their own decision (like me) they are less likely to drop out of the system.

In PIF4P the system we are provided consists of the following:

• replicable websites (3) based on direct response marketing
• basic training including 30 day successguide
• free autoresponder loaded with messages for an entire year
• the autoresponder can be upgraded to the pro version
• the low cost entry product is Global Domains International (GDI) who provides domain names and web site histing, all for $10 a month. The affiliate program is very good - it offers $10 per personally sponsored member
• GDI has a 7 day free trial period before you are billed
  
• If you in any 7 day period enroll 5 members you get a weekly bonus of $100!

This is the incitament that is getting ther ball rolling and I will keep you posted in the weeks ahead about the progress and I hope that I can convince you to join me in building a large organization making a lot of friends and becoming financial indipendent in the process!

Introduction
In this blog I will discuss the 'funded proposal' and I will use Pay It Forward 4 Profit (PIF4P) as an example of how this can be achieved. I will use my own experiences to determine if this marketing model is viable or not.

The successful marketer
All successful marketing on the Internet is based on large databases of prospects thathave accepted to receive their commercial emails -- 'the money is in the list' -- as the slogan goes.

The 'newbie' marketer
In this situation the new marketer is at a great disadvantage when he/she starts marketing on the Internet, because they will not have a large database of prospects willing to receive their offers through email.

Traditional list building methods
So how can these people go about it to build up a large database of opt-in subscribers they can peddle their offers to?

The traditional method all recommends are to include a subscription box on your website, and offer something free in exchange for the email adress. This is a safe method, but it take a long time to grow the opt-in list to any substantial size. By the way, opt-in in this context means that the prospect has opted-in, i.e. accepted to receive commercial email from an Internet marketer.

You could also do the same thing with 'squeeze pages'. that is one page offers of a free report or an ebook in exchange for the name and emailadress of the prospect. When you have one page you can make a more detailed description of the benefits the user can get from the offer, and you can use a clear comman to achion -- SIGN IN NOW! to get the desired response from the readers. If you use several such squeeze pages this can inccrease the sign ups substantially.

Then there is the squeeze page with the 'one time offer' (OTO) that comes up before the prospect is sent to the download page for the freebe offered. This OTO is, as the name says, a one time offer which has a pricetag between $27 and $67. Normally 2 out of a 100 accepts the offer. This means that you have got 100 new subscribers and 2 of them have qualified themselves by accepting the OTO, they have money and are willing to use it.

All these methods depend on your time, allthough you route the signups to an autorepsonder; you have still to maintain and follow up also personally.

Finally we could also mention buying leads through a leads co-op. This can be both single and double opt-in leads. Single opt-in means that they have answered a questionaire from the lead buyer that they are interested in receiving information of the kind the marketer have to offer, while double opt-in also receives an email where they have to verify their email before they start to receive the information they have opted in to. The double opt-in becomes much more expensive so often the co-op provide only single opt-in. But as was said, this will cost money, at times quite substantial amount of money, and the newbie will most often not be able to invest this type of money into their business at this stage.
